Ann & Noah
I’m so, so thrilled to finally share this wedding! One of my absolute favorite projects of my career, this event was wrapped in warmth and love from the first day of planning through to the very end. These clients radiated joy, and their focus on creating a special experience for their guests resulted in a seriously spectacular day!
Drawing inspiration from Dutch Masters paintings and modern still life photography, we dreamed up a design lush in Old World style, tempered with an elegant, modern aesthetic. A series of floral installations built the drama ever larger, leading to the stunning, custom designed clear tent on the 18th green at East Lake Golf Club. Ethereal clouds of pale pink blooms floated over dinner tables laden with still-life tableaus. Bathed in the warm glow of candlelight, these tables were a feast for the eyes, featuring lush florals, abundant fruit, and even butterflies and quail eggs. It was truly magical!
The vendor team can make or break an event, and this team was above and beyond amazing! It was an honor to work with each partner to craft a truly cohesive celebration, with no detail overlooked. I’m so grateful to Julie and Courtney at Invision Events for bringing me into this project!
Floral design at this scale requires a dedicated team of super-talented floral designers. This team - oh my goodness, they were just incredible! Every hour was a joy. We kept an intentional focus on sustainability in every part of the design, using construction, hydration and design methods that minimized waste and allowed for adaptive reuse. Most of the flower and plant material was composted, and there was not a single spec of toxic floral foam to be found! I’m not sure I’ve ever had more fun working so hard, and I already can’t wait until the next event we can flower together!
Grab a favorite beverage and a comfy seat and give yourself time to soak up the beauty and love in these photos - I’m so happy to share them with you.
